Program Designed to have Police Officers check on you Home while on Vacation
The Peoria
Police Department has designed a program that has police volunteers check on
you home while you are away on vacation or business. Peoria citizens can now be
placed on a “Vacation Watch” list to ensure that you home is watched for up to
30 days. The volunteers officers will walk around your home to see if there is
anything unusual or apparent damage. If anything unexpectedly happens, the
homeowners will be contacted as well as their emergency contacts. If you would
